“Democratic” KY Gov Candidate Organized Republican Party Tribute to President Bush

Bruce Lunsford, who is now masquerading as a Democrat in Kentucky’s Gubernatorial race, recently claimed, “"I've lived my life as a Democrat. I have 40 some years living as a Democrat."

Maybe someone should remind Lunsford that the Kentucky Post archives date back well past those 40 years….from a 9/26/95 article:

“The Republican Party of Kentucky will hold a Salute to President George Bush on Oct. 13 at Churchill Downs in Louisville.

The event is a major fund-raiser for the party and the GOP state ticket.

There will be a dinner chairman's reception with Bush from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., a general reception at 6:30 and dinner at 7.

Northern Kentucky builder Ralph Drees is a co-chairman of the dinner.

Members of the dinner committee include Bill Butler, Jerry Carroll, Mary Fisher, Bruce Lunsford and Kevin Murphy.

Sure sounds like 40 years as a Democrat to me…
