Mitch McConnell does not believe in global warming: Block’s Al Gore Charity Concert

While McConnell did not go quite as far as his good friend Senator James Inhofe, who has called global warming “a hoax,” the Kentucky senator (don’t worry, he won’t have that title too much longer) refused to admit global warming exists. After saying “there is not a consensus among climate change issues” and that “the (Bush) administration has taken steps in the right direction,” McConnell was then thoughtful enough to block one of Al Gore’s benefit concerts planned for the Capitol Hill law.

Maybe this has something to do with why The Politico reports that Mitch McConnell will be the latest target of the Netroots.
