Mike Ware Responds to Drudges BASELESS Acusation.
Soledad: Let me ask you a question. There was a report that said you were heckling and you were laughing during the Senator's press conference. Was that true?
Ware: Well, let's bear in mind that this was a report that was linked by an unnamed official of some kind to a blog, somewhere on the internet. No one is going to put their name forward. We certainly haven't heard Senator McCain say anything about it, or has any of his staff come forward to say anything about it.
I did not heckle the Senator, indeed I did not say a word. I didn't even ask a question. In fact, when I raised my hand to ask a question, the press conference abruptly ended. So what I would suggest is that everyone that has any queries about whether I heckled, watch the video tape of the press conference.

Ware wouldn't heckle McCain because he is on CNN everyday praising the war and how great it is going.
This guy obviously wants Tony Snow's lying job.
larry, every time I've seen him on he has been criticizing how the war is being handled and how poorly it is going compared to the rosy picture being painted by the administration and republicans. I think maybe once he went after Dems for legislating a time line to end it. That is the only time he has echoed republican talking points, otherwise he has gone after every unrealistic policy decision and false assertion by this administration concerning Iraq.
Obviously an effort to attack the messenger in order to discredit the message.
How dare we believe someone who's lived in Iraq for four years over the word of somebody who strolls through the green zone with a heavily armed escort!
