Lost in the shuffle of Hillary's money chase, John McCain's heavily guarded stroll through Baghdad and all the "Fredo" Gonzalez hooplah, was the fact that former Wisconsin Gov. and Bush Cabinet official Tommy Thompson entered the race for President. While I don't think he has a real shot, it's not like he doesn't have the resume to get the nomination.

And the Prince of Darkness, Bob Novak, has a column on Fred "Law & Order" Thompson getting into the race. Key quote

"Thompson's popularity reflects weakness among announced Republican candidates, as reflected in the Gallup survey."

Both Thompson's believe they can win the nomination, because the other candidates in the race are so weak. It will be interesting to see the fundraising numbers for Giuliani, Romney and McCain. If they pale in comparison to Clinton, Obama, and Edwards, you may see more GOPers get in.
