The fact that Karl Rove got off scott free really has to chafe Scooter Libby's hide (although chafing is probably the least of Scooter's hide worries nowadays). But we may see Karl Rove hauled before a grand jury again some time soon if McClatchy newspapers have it right (HT-Josh Marshall)

Veeery interesting.
Too funny!! I just finished listening to Imus rag Mary Matalin about Scooter. ("Scooters' going to jail, and have a big boyfriend who's gonna kiss him on the lips", all in a sing songy voice.

Yes v-e-r-y interesting indeed.
The fact that Karl Rove LIED to a grand jury about not having anything to do with the Attorney firings does bring the issue of perjury into play.
But for some reason, the chief players in the Administration seem to walk all over our justice system with impunity.
We may see that frog-march that Joe Wilson has waiting for, for so long. It would be worth it, just to see Karl being the girlfriend of some big guy named Bubba.
Rove is long overdue for a major slapdown. He and Cheney both. If they don't get busted soon, I'm gonna have to go over there and do it myself. Any takers?
