Mary Matlin is very creepy and the sound of her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard. Honestly, I don't know how she can even sit through an interview with that big stick up her ass.
What really bothers me about this whole manipulation of the media is the fact that we are actually shocked when a journalist or a newsman does their job. When did that ever become such a rarity?
I loved the picture of Matlin as the evil witch...it was perfect. Could you imagine being in the same bunker with Mary Matlin and Dick Cheney? They would just suck the air right out of the room.
I DETEST HER. I really do. And, not shockingly mary ellen, she will be one of the subject of my AMERICAblog piece today :)
It cracks me up that Matlin actually called Imus BACK yesterday to correct... um, contradict herself... "Whatever Scooter wrote down, that's what I said" after saying she never said "Tim hates Chris".
Doncha know she got a frantic fon call from Scooter right before! Heh.

You can't twist her words or mischaracterize her conversation. She essentially denied this. So let me be clear, crystal clear.
If Scooter wrote it down, then she said it.
She doesn't remember saying it. She was trying to explain to them what it could have meant. What it does not mean is that Tim literally hates Chris.
But if Scooter wrote it down, then she said it.
So don't say she denies it, or don't characterize it in any way.
If Scooter wrote it down, then she said it....
There. That should clear everything up.
Maybe this needs further clarification. So:
If he wrote it down like that, whether or not she remembers saying it it's irrelevant. If he said that then she said that, and it sounds like something she would say. In the same way she would say Wilson is a snake or anything else.
She wants you to understand the gravity of what they’re doing here. In 15 years she has never called him back, when he's jerking her chain 24-7. She's never done this. It’s not about her chain. It’s about clarifying and disallowing him to twist her words. If Scooter wrote it down, then she said it. She's not contradicting Scooter—Is that clear? ... Are you listening to her? Ok.
I love to see her bury herself with her own big mouth!
as for media/information manipulation - I wonder what George Orwell would say. So many parallels with Animal Farm!
