This is Orwellian and hallucinatory at the same time.

I can't say what I want to about Tony Snow, because he is ill.
But you know I want to.

Paddy, someone's illness does not in any way indemnify them from being blithering idiots. Their personality and ethic quotient remain the same as it would be if they were "well".
I'm sure we all are sorry he has recurrent colon cancer, but he's a major jackass mouthpiece for a lying Administration and that hasn't changed.

Jerks do not become class acts just because a malignancy sets up shop in their body.

Sorry, don't agree. If someone is ill, the most important thing that we can do is treat them as a normal person. They are not the illness, the illness is not them. They have the responsibility to either continue and be treated normally, or go onto a hiatus due to illness.

He is functioning, so treat him as you would a non-ill person.

Kick his butt.

I totally agree.
That malignancy in his body did not change anything about him. He's still a primary spewer and absolutely must be held responsible for the lies that he speaks.
