Following up on Cliff's post from earlier....

Two really good ads.

In the comments, tell me what you thing. I'm curious.

I've got a favorite of the two ads, just wanting to know which one you guys like.

Dodd, Dodd, Dodd. Edwards' was a campaign speech.

Dodd's was a thoughtful attempt to get people active.

He also slipped in a million digs, including a passive one by including the clip about the haircut (no pun). Smart, if not snarky.

And, he spoke TO us, not at us. Nice.

There, I discussed.

I still like Edwards, regardless of his ad. I really like how he has taken the lead in confronting the corporate media (like Coulter).

That said, we have a long way to go.

About the ad, though: I really like the visual elements--the soft focus, backlight, the upward angle of framing, handheld pan. Very artistic. One thing I don't like though is how the spotlight jumps out from behind the figures and whites the screen. Kind of annoying. Otherwise I like it, visually.

Sorry--I was talking about the Edwards campaign above.

I like the directness of the Dodd video - its definately not an ad. Its more like he's talking to a small group in a room.

The Edwards ad is pretty.

My personality reacts better to the Dodd-type.

Yep, I'm with the Dodd ad also.
