Yeah....

My history: Laid off 2x in the past 3 years (one job I held for 10 years) in favor of help desks that were located in Mumbai, India.

I've applied to hundreds of those (I'm sure) "fake" ads. Never hear a thing back.

In my current position 5 of 8 of us are hb-1 visa holders.

Many tech friends of mine are forced into doing short-term consulting like me (I'm lucky that I have benefits, most don't). More and more IT departments look like and SE Asia.

I make less money now than I did in 2004. Visa workers have driven down IT wages across the company and may unemployed IT people are forced to work for much less than they were making - if they can get a job at all.

H-1Bs are a terrible terrible program which produces unemployment and age discrimination.

Hillary Clinton has vowed to increase the H-1B visa list.
