Scathing, brutally frank opinion column in the Times of India today.
Indian glee over Bush's discomfiture is misinformed. The Democrats — and indeed the US public — were fervent supporters of the Iraq invasion. They gloried in the shock and awe of the initial military victory.
They have turned against Bush today only because they believe that the US has a right to win wars quickly and without US casualties. They are not pillorying Bush today for faulty policies or quasi-imperialism. They are pillorying him for failed virility.
For as much as the British press picks on Bush and the U.S., this piece is down to the bones harsh. I would argue that there is alot of what they are saying that is correct. Maybe not all, but go take a read.

Something I posted elsewhere a long time ago - "It isn't the lying. It's the losing."
And the American public is still losing, free falling towards a feudal society. Soon we'll all be share croppers or less fighting the next righteous, valiant and essential societal war for the plantation owners.
Asia Times has them backing out of our Nuclear ties.
There are stories inside of stories here. States are obfuscating again.
