My feeling about these upcoming elections has been that what is going on now is generational. I don't WANT to hear any bs about Viet Nam. I dont' WANT people to slam on liberals for being Dirty F&&kING HIPPIES. We're past that.

I want a candidate that is AT LEAST AS SMART AS ME. And that means someone who is close to my age, 'cause most of the others don't know a modem from a stop sign.

I want someone who reflects my passions, my concerns.... and most of the time I like Edwards. But look at these pictures. Just astounding.

People, these are POLITICAL RALLIES. Dead f'ng boring to most people.
But look at these pictures. Something else is going on.

Ya know, I see Obama moving up, but he has been doing it under the radar, so to speak. The main stream media hasn't quite caught up to him yet, but I have the feeling that with the money that is coming his way, they are going to wake up.

Obama has the gift of speech. He can talk to anyone of any walk of life, the wealty, blue collar worker, or the poor. He resonates with all. That's why I think he can beat Hillary. She doesn't have Bill's gift of gab and he can't do her talking for her. Besides, I also think Obama would be able to get more of the Independent vote than Hillary. He certainly will get the Illinois vote.

The only Republicans that seem to go after Obama are the hard-core Fox News crowd, and Dems won't get their votes for President anyway. It's funny watching them try to get some dirt on Obama.

I have the feeling that Obama can draw the Republicans who are sick of Bush and want a change, even if it means voting Dem. He would do even better if he got someone like Wesley Clark to run on his ticket. Someone with some real military service will be a great asset, IMO. Or, an Obama/Edwards ticket? Two squeaky clean candidates to offset the slime on the Republican ticket....

There is a long way to go. Any number of things could happen. But, I believe Hilary's camp is in a little denial if they don't see the inevitable. And that is Senator Obama eclipsing her campaign. It's just a matter of time now.
