The Politico In Need Of Another Journalism Lesson

Was anyone else dismayed to read the story titled "Hillary Runs Thrifty Campain"? Perhaps my biggest shock was clicking on the main headline to read a story that NEVER mentioned how much cash on hand Hillary has that can be used in the primary!
Clinton reported an overall total for the quarter of $36 million, the $26 million she raised from Jan. 1 to March 31 and a $10 million transfer from her Senate account. The campaign spent $5 million, about half of the expenses incurred by Republican hopeful John McCain during the same period. And she reported having $1.5 million in debt.
Now what do you all see wrong with this paragraph? Spending $5 million in 3 months is considered "thrifty?" I could be wrong, but I'd be willing to bet that not a single Democratic contender spent as much as Hillary Clinton during the first quarter.

Update: As someone mentioned to me, shouldn't the real headline be "Barack Obama raised $4.5 million more than Hillary Clinton in primary money for the first quarter"?

They'd only write "Barack Obama raised $4.5 million more than Hillary Clinton in primary money for the first quarter"? if they didn't have an agenda. They sooooo do.
