Thanks OhDave!
You guys may be familiar with one of our kind commenters here, Ohdave, which conveniently stands for Ohio Dave.
Dave has a blog, where he does one of the best roundups of Ohio politics out there, and was kind enough to write a warm welcome to me, with my impending move to Columbus.
Thank you Dave. I look forward to joining a talented group of Ohio bloggers. And am very psyched to move to Columbus, a very cool, young and growing city (especially after that comeback last night against Tennessee :))

You're just looking forward to the free beer.
Hey Cliff...now that you'll be living in Ohio, does that mean you're not a Yankee fan anymore? :-O
Come to the light, Cliff....Come to the light..... Repeat after me, "Go White Sox!"
That was nice of OhDave. Its the blogger version of plate of cookies from the new neighbors!
Good luck in Ohio Cliff! Glad to hear that you're going to have some 'rents around to babysit. Its a good thing to be able to get away with you sig. other alone once in awhile.
Thanks for the good thoughts guys!
And ME, I like the White Sox. But I grew up going to Yankees games with my dad. We still go when we get a chance when I get back to NY.
In other words, that one is not negotiable :)
It's good to send our best and brightest to the toughest places!
My first campaign was as a teen Dem for JFK in Canton, Ohio.
I love Columbus. You have to start working now on tickets to an OSU football game. It's the most fun thing to do in Columbus.
There are so many cool things to do in Columbus. You will really love it there. I lived in Clintonville. The city has changed a lot since I lived there.
Ohio is also the key to the nation in terms of elections. 06 was a great example. I would argue that Ohio really led the Dem wave last year. That's why Cliff's work here will be so important. If the Dem nominee can win Ohio in 08 I don't see how we can lose the WH.
I'm not being nice to Cliff so much as riding his coattails. When he is the new WH chief of staff I want him to take me with me. (Just kidding. All the money in the world couldn't get me to Washington.)
And: you are a Reds fan now, which is a tougher life than even being a Cubs fan. Being a Bengals fan, though, has gotten better in recent years.
Sometime this summer though, you'll have to come my way for a Dragons game here in Dayton. Nothing beats it.
