So how do you really feel oh wonderous RedState?

You guys are funny! I know you're not trying to be. But you still are. And I thank you.

The Right's Field has the goods.

Are both links supposed to be the same?

I'm glad they agree with the left anyway. Bet they would shoot themselves if they were relective enought to figure that out.

I just checked out a blog from a guy who calls himself an Independent and he had a post all about Obama and the so-called "madrassa" school. I know this guy who writes this blog, and there is no way in hell he is an Independent, he's as right wing as they come.

These guys are running so scared because their worse nightmare has come true. Hillary is running and she is being accepted as a viable candidate who can win, from the media, and we have a black candidate who is squeeky clean and they can't find anything to pin on him. It's funny. I still think if Hillary wins the primary, she should pick Obama as VP. That is a ticket that can't lose.

Gingrich cracks me up. I saw an interview with him last week and when asked if he was going to run he gave that creepy smile of his and said that he wasn't sure. He's waiting for all those losers that are running now to fall like dominoes and then he'll announce he's running. He reminds me of a vulture, waiting to pick at the bones of his opponents. The guy is so slimey.

Funny how the only one who doesn't "suck" is the biggest brownshirt of them all.

Not that I'm surprised...

I love when they eat their own. Let me get this straight though, he rips Giuliani for his "lecherous" personal life and then is looking to Newt "three marriage and leave em while they're in the hospital with cancer" Gingrich as their savior...um okay...

I'll tell you who scares the hell out of me...Mike Huckabee.

Right now he doesn't have a very high name recognition but the guy is a smooth talker, he comes off as a moderate and he's loonier than Brownback.

Brownback has no shot because he's a loon and everyone knows it.

Rudy and mcCain are dead in the water because the christofascists hate them (not to mention that Grover Norquist and McCain don't particularly like each other).

Romney? Gingrich? Hunter? Tancredo? PUHLEEZE.

One thing is for sure it'll be fun watching the bigots and haters do what the Democrats haven't been able to do for years...destroy the Republican party.

disnoir36-
I'm with you, Huckabee is the stealth candidate.

But the bottom line as far as I can see it the brown hatred. They are digging themselves so far into the ground on the Mexican border that they will NEVER get the latino vote.

Also be worried about Tommy Thompson. Wingers like overall but he comes off as very moderate too. He won Wisconsin 3 or 4 times with an approval rating through the roof.

I think he is their other stealth guy...

Cliff

How much damage do you think serving as Sec of the Dept of Health & human Services will do to Thompson?

After all he was one of the people who gave us Mediscare Plan D (from outer space?), he was instrumental in the Bush admin policy on stem cell, on the morning after pill and a slew of other antiscientific/profaith based medical policies.

Not to mention that Tommy has long standing ties with Big Tobacco which give a faint odor of something and it ain't cigarette smoke.

The only thing the guy did that could be seen as positive was the stockpiling of vaccines like cipro in case of an anthrax outbreak, and he did that after 2 Democratic senators were attacked. Of course he also did it at the expense of flu vaccinations. Not much of a good record AFAIC.

Plus his record in Wisconsin is something that might turn off small gov't Jeff Flake type Conservatives. If Bush is a drunken sailor with a credit card that has no limit, Tommy Thompson is like the Paris Hilton wannabe who screwed the drunken sailor and took his credit card in the middle of the night without him realizing it.

HA. good one disnoir! man, could you imagine if all of us here got together and made attack ads for the DNC?

We'd have ads with Tommy Thompson morphing into Paris Hilton and screwing taxpayers. Or Ted Haggard in a furry outfit smoking a bowl with the Bush twins.

the possibilities are endless.

disnoir - I think working under Bush may damage Thompson.

But he opposed Bush's craziness on stem cells. He is for stem-cell research. But very anti-choice. Which is about right to win "conservatives," and only lose the real nuts I think (he will still be more conservative than Giuliani, Romney or McCain are pretending to be).

He is also very popular in a key swing state, and while he may lose Jeff Flake types, he may win people who really think of themselves as "compassionate conservatives" (popular in certain segments of the very Catholic and every important Midwest).

Finally, he comes off as a decent guy like Huckabee, which is also why he is scary (and the Big Tobacco ties ain't gonna hurt him in the GOP primary--could in the general).

jambon - With I could be at the march today, but too much work to do...I hope I can make it next time...Have a blast!
