Tomorrow should be interesting. I am going on Al Jazeera at 11AM EST to speak to the viewers in London, Kuala Lumpur and Doha, Qatar about the midterms here. Assuming the Bushies don't bomb the DC Bureau (see Kabul), I should return sometime afterwards to describe the experience.

Thanks paddy...hey I am going to be writing a few more kos diaries soon. Do me a favor and let me know if I am breaking some long held protocol (there seem to be so many rules:)

No rules really except no 9/11 conspiracy stuff (and that gets broke alll the time).

Tell you what- When you get around to writing them, email me so I can rec you up (give a reccomend) and comment. I seriously doubt you would break any rules, but the more comments you get, the more people read (to see what the comments are about) and I can email my dkos buds to do the same.

Depending on how busy the day is, it usually takes 20 or so rec's to get on the Rec List (the diaries at the top of the right side of the site). Those are the high exposure diaries.

If you know anyone who also has a dkos handle, when you post the diary let them know so they can rec it up for you. Now, your friends can rec it up, but it takes rec's to keep it up there so technically it can be a shitty diary that gets there, but only quality will get more rec's and stay on the list.

Now that I have totally confused you, (lol) just email me at paddykraska at hotmail.com when you put up the diary. Since I got fired (canned, axed, booted) last Friday I got plenty of time to help you out.

Peace

Election day story...

We have a good friend who is undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. As you might expect she has no hair and wears a wig. Today when we went to vote she happened to be there in line with us. There was a woman there handing out flyers to vote no on the stem cell initiative (we are in Missouri). Our friend stepped in front of the woman handing out flyers, ripped off her wig, and announced in a very loud voice " You think I'm stupid enough to vote against a cure for myself?".
It was great. The woman handing out the flyers looked very mad.

druidbros-

When you see your friend, tell her that chutzpah is what extends life, and by my book she will live to be 100!!!

God bless her!

liepardestin,

I will be posting to kos more often soon. I saw your piece on McCain's owing you a suicide.

Hysterical. Great stuff!

Paddy - Al Jazeera was cool. Weird to be honest. Lots of pausing for translation. So I couldn't be quite as "tough" on the former Frist staffer as I wanted to. But I think I made my point.

I might start going on more often. Will talk more about it if it happens.

The rest of you guys, thanks for all the tv compliments. I promise to keep it up!
