Cindy McCain asks supporters to sign an e-card for her husband’s birthday on Wednesday — and donate $142, two dollars a year.How about offering Sanjaya Malakar a lead in La Traviata? Or nominating Bernie Kerik for Chief Justice? If pity inspires support, then the Republicans win in 2008, because there's never been a sorrier bunch.
