or ??
CNN reports on Vitter/D.C. Madam Revelation. Did I just hear right?
On Blitzer's Situation Room, a CNN reporter just said that (I'm paraphrasing, but this is awfully close) "the public is more forgiving when it's lust as opposed to an affair of the heart"?

So, um, President Clinton was in love with Monica? Okay, that explains the cigars and references to her as "that woman, Miss Lewinsky". It was love.
Now I can't forgive him any more.

Too bad Monica wasn't a hooker. Ken Starr could have avoided all that pesky legal stuff.

Update: Vitter's also the southern regional chair of Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign.

That's who CNN counts on to report "news".

They'll forgive the Republican, because obviously God has forgiven him. Moment a Democrat is exposed though, the media is going to have a feeding frenzy.

Anyway, whomever is found on the list has broken the law, should be forced out of office, and have the book thrown at them.... Anyone know the punishment for making use of services provided by a prostitute?

BTW, I'm one who thinks the profession should be made legal. Stupid thing to outlaw, since it only makes it more dangerous for the customer and the individual providing such services. Plus, it is something else government can tax.

And Ashen... if they'd make it legal it would make for some great product tie-ins. Fall Into The Gap would take on a whole new meaning.
