OH MY.

Just now on Face the Nation, Chuck Schumer said that the Judiciary committee was considering calling Patrick Fitzgerald to testify about the Plame leak.

oh please.oh please.oh please.oh please.oh please.oh please.oh please.
God, I swear I'll be a good girl for the rest of my life.

**note, I emailed Nicole Belle over at C&L, so hopefully they can grab the video.

***********UPDATE**************
Leahy on CNN says he would consult with Specter as to whether Fitzgerald would testify, but he thinks it is a road they could go down. Specter seems to agree, but for different reasons... didn't catch them, I was running to the computer.

What Schumer said (best I can remember) was that since the Prez & VP didn't testify under oath, he could talk about that testimony.

Can they do that????

Prof Marcus, it seems you should tell us, not the other way around.

Yeah, baby.

Fitz will swing like a baseball bat through boiled cabbages.

Make them curse their birthday, Fitz!

Revenge is at hand! For you and America.

You CAN send these freaks to the gallows.

"You CAN send these freaks to the gallows."

This would interfere with an ability to prosecute.

They should not do this, the GOP wants to try and muddy the waters.

Instead ask for a summary of the CIA damage assessment.

Porter Goss is free to testify these days... ditto Tenet.

The summary will drive discovery. A Resolution of Inquiry can be filed in the House to drive that. Any attempt to bring down the ROI will make it an up or down vote.
