'NYT' Working On News Corp. Investigation

NEW YORK The New York Times is reportedly working on a major investigation into News Corp., according to The New York Observer, which reported today that it's being led by Times Managing Editor Jill Abramson.

The investigation would be occurring as News Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch is seeking to buy Dow Jones & Co., owners of The Wall Street Journal and other major financial reporting properties.
