Letters Can Be Nice

Paddy mentioned that former CIAer Larry Johnson was one of the invitees on Stepanie Miller's show this morning.

I have found myself becoming a huge fan Johnson's, yet another former Republican who has looked upon the traitors in his party and has become disgusted enough to leave their company. You can find him at his blog, No Quarter, or often on Olbermann or in the diaries at Kos defending Valerie Plame against Dragon Lady Toensing's deluded concoctions, Cheney's self-reach arounds or virtually all manner of Republican lies and hypocrisy.

Well, Johnson and some other former intelligence officers wrote a nice letter to Tenet about his book and when he conveniently decided to start his criticism of Bush. The man pulls no punches. It's very much worth a read.

PS I wonder if Tenet got a Jaguar like Powell did, another once-honorable man who decided his reputation and decency were worth throwing overboard for a nickname from Dear Cheer Leader.

Dear Cheer Leader.... I like that. Has a real "Mean Girls" snark to it.

It's so sad to see these bitches fighting amongst themselves. Watching Tenet do a Bush slap down reminds me of scenes from "Simple Life" where Nicole is calling herself Paris.

Larry Jonhson? GranMaMa?

Guy OWNED the low post when he was in his prime! Quite the feat for a power forward in the era of Hakeem, Patrick, Shaq, Robinson, et. al.

And now it turns out that he's some kind of superspy?

Dang!
