How Inept is Susan Collins?

I am sure that the Maine People's Alliance and Americans United for Change are thrilled that Susan Collins just posted this response, which will draw even more attention to their ad depicting how two-faced Collins talks one way at home in Maine and goes to Washington to vote with George W. Bush. Collins was kind enough to remind voters that she was speaking against the troop surge, which I'm sure did a lot of good after she turned around and supported George W. Bush by voting against ending the war in Iraq. Thank you for the response Susan, hopefully you will post more videos so the voters in Maine can read more stories like this one exposing your record:
Collins, R-Maine, voted last week against an emergency appropriations bill that authorized $123.2 billion in spending, with $97.5 billion for the Defense Department. The bill, which passed 51-47, would require the gradual withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq.

"We were disappointed last week that Senator Collins, when given the opportunity to vote for legislation that provided funding for the troops in Iraq as well as a plan for withdrawal, voted nay," Graham said.

Isn't it public relations 101 that you never repeat the allegation you're denying in the course of denying it?

Move On should pay her campaign for their distribution work.

This is checkmate. Watch her spin. She just voted against bringing the troops home AND against funding them, too. Congradulations Maine, you may become purple aqfter all just like we did here in Virginia a few months back. Just point the camera at them and they will cut their own throats. That's how we got rid of Senator Macaca and got Senator Webb. The GOP will implode on its own!
