Ughhhhhh....I have to stop reading all the blogs before I've had time to brace myself. Every morning I become more and more frightened by what has happened to our country and who is in charge.
Today: AmericaBlog says, "
Dick "Last Throes" Cheney launched an attack on Nancy Pelosi yesterday via Rush Limbaugh and the media lap it up."
Think Progress says: Yesterday, former President Jimmy Carter revealed that he was barred from visiting Syria last year when he was abroad monitoring the Palestinian elections: “I have known President Bashar al-Assad since he was a college student, and I thought it might be helpful if I went and urged him to support the peace process in the Middle East. But for the only time in my life as a former president, I was ordered by the White House not to go.”
Raw Story reports:
New York Sun: Cheney for President in 2008
(chills went up the back of my neck on that one!)
Huffington says: NBC: Bush To Send 12,000 More Troops To Iraq
When will this roller coaster end??
I have to wonder if I should start taking a good stiff drink in the morning instead of coffee before I read the news. Paddy....help! I need one of your soothing pictures of water falls and flowers...stat!
This picture really says it all - for many of us.
Lately it has become obvious that Glorious Leader is now at least 4 bottles short of a 6 pack.
His overbearing swagger, his complete idiocy, his nasty remarks and simpering little smirk mark him for the incredibly stupid frat-boy that he has always been.
Hang tight people - with luck the man will find a nice room to hang himself in when he reaches the bottom of that barrel he's sliding in to.
basheert
Well, if he's gonna hang himself, I hope he can talk Cheney to hang with him.
