McConnell wasting his donors' funds

While I'm sure that a large contingent of the Kentucky Republican Party is not too happy with Mitch McConnell enticing Anne Northup to challenge Governor Ernie Fletcher in a primary, I can't imagine they will be excited about wasting money to plan this May 26th "unity rally," when it is far from certain that they will not be in the middle of a run-off.
