Over on TPM, Josh Marshall has a clip of Sen. Obama talking about the Iraq situation. I haven't made up my mind who I will vote for, nor will I for quite some time. But this clip makes a real strong case for the junior Senator from Illinois.

One of his supposed weaknesses is a lack of foreign policy experience, but the clips shows him to be prescient, coherent and ultimately, dead on (I was also gonna say he looked clean, but decided against it). If I was the Obama campaign, I'd send this video out to every undecided voter, so they can see what he is like, without a filter of news reporting.

You're right, Cliff, that video should be utilized on every talk show that he goes on.

Like you, I'm still undecided on who I would support. I was afraid of Obama's lack of foreign policy, too. That said, I'm not too pleased with the way Hillary is running her campaign. She needs to get her "people" under control and stop this stupid bickering and sniping at Obama. If she disagrees with a policy he has, that's fine, but this crap over who is giving money to who is just stupid. Hillary is coming off as the Washington insider, and I think Americans have had enough of them.

Obama already has more experience than the chimperor did before he was elected. Obama has been a member of the Senate for a few years, and thus has been at a good vantage point to learn.
Besides that, if my memory serves me right, Obama has been outside the country, while Bush had never left the good old US of A until he was president.
So, any time a republican brings up Obama's lack of experience, progressives should bring up their lack of a president.

Mary Ellen,

It's tough enough being anonymous, but now your giving credit to Cliff is just killing me!

Anyway, thanks for the note. I have to admit, it is an impressive interview, and I think something every Dem should see
