Extra Extra...union beats the snot out of healthcare conglomerate. Taylor Marsh, who has done an excellent job of covering this whole sordid affair, has the story.

Psst Democrats, these are called "defining issues." Keep that in mind as there are more conflagrations that involve hard-working Americans and cigar-chomping, fat-ass, balding corporate humps.

I'll repost this comment on this thread, since the one I put it on is kinda old and Paddy might not see it...

Paddy

Sorry I haven't had a chance to get to your blog. I've been busy as hell with Christmas cooking, shopping and I need to leave town next weekend. Hopefully, after that I will have the time to read and comment on your blog. From what I've seen at a glance, it looks great and you've obviously put a lot of work into it.

In the meantime, hope you are successful with your job hunt. It's a bear to find any work at the end of the year. After the 1st, I'm sure something will come up. Keep your chin up, kiddo.

Cliff: Just so you don't feel bad...I love your blog, too. It's been great and I'll try to comment more once the holiday's are over. It's really crazy here...kids coming home and total chaos (I love it!). In the meantime, I'll check in from time to time to read what you are up to...keep up the good work!

mary ellen,

Thanks for apologizing but totally unnecessary. I am really happy you enjoy coming around here. But I understand people have lives, as I disappear with my boy Dougie sometimes.

Enjoy your holidays and come back when you're up to it. We'll be happy to have you!

When did Saturday Night Live stop being funny? It's like they get one good bit, and the rest sucks to high heaven.

Mary Ellen-

No stress hon, I'm still fine tuning it. I have a friend who will be tweaking the html to add some stuff and correct come colors.

I'm like a manic-depressive over the job thing now, but it is literally up one day, down the next. Tomorrow is a Sunday paper, and hopefully something will be there.

All you guys, enjoy your kids and family. Do not even worry about it, it all sounds wonderful.

Toodles-
P
