Dobbs Could Get New Timeslot As Campbell Brown Joins CNN
Campbell Brown is definitely leaving NBC News for a prominent position at CNN, TVNewser has confirmed.
Brown's contract with NBC expires at the end of this month. News of her new job is reverberating throughout newsrooms today.
Drudge says the announcement is "imminent as final deal points are being completed."
Among those points, an unimpeachable source tells TVNewser: Paula Zahn is losing her 8pm nightly broadcast.
A schedule shakeup looks likely. Lou Dobbs could be moving to 7 or 8pm...
Smart move putting Dobbs up against O'Reilly, Can't imagine that he'll take any of Keith's audience, but he could really cut into Faux.

Dobbs could have taken part of Keith's audience a year ago ... before he went apeshit with the immigration issue. CNN really needs to cut back on the Situation Room, 3 hours is too much. How I wish they would give an hour to Cafferty ... maybe NBC could take him at some point since all they seem to take from the other networks are castaways like Carlson....
