Ok..this really pisses me off! If you had any idea how strict the laws are out here for drunk driving and she got away with that! No child restraints and endangering the life a her children while driving drunk would have landed any one else in jail here and they would have lost their drivers license for a lot longer than three months. Not to mention there would have been a HUGE fine!

Example: My daughter worked a double shift at the emergency room in the hospital she works at. On the way home she was pulled over, not because she did anything wrong, but they ran her plates at a stop light (they figured anyone driving that late at night must be a drunk) and they found that her ex-husband whose name was on the title of the car had an arrest warrant (tells ya why she's divorced). So, instead of realizing it wasn't him, they took her out of the car, put her in cuffs, hauled her off to the police station, and charged her with driving with an obstruction on her mirror (a graduation tassel).

Even though she had no idea where her ex was, they were pissed enough that they didn't get a good arrest so they took it out on her. That's the kind of police we have out here.

They should have made the provision that she wasn't allowed to drive with her kids in the car, for at least a year.

And Paula Poundstone got her foster kids yanked for something similar.

But she's part of the Hollywood elite, so she deserved it and this idiot didn't, right?
