Replacement For Almost-Gone Gonzo?

The talk in GOP circles, is apparently centering around Ted Olson, the former Solicitor General. Are you freakin kidding me? Yes, surely he'll make the justice department a bastion of nonpartisan competence. The man not only committed perjury in the 80s, but then ran the scummy Arkansas Project to bring down Bill Clinton in the 90s, which ultimately led us to Monica.

Olson only made it through Congress in 2001 because the GOP was in control. He's more odious than conjoined twins of Sam Fox and Howard Hunt. Good luck getting this dirty corporate whore through the Senate guys.

I have to say, replacing Gonzalez is not the issue. Whoever they replace him with, does anyone really think the DOJ will no longer be politicized under Bush?

The replacement has to be at the top. As long as Rove is in office, there will be a politicized DOJ, Gonzalez or no Gonzalez.
