What is it about the weekends that send all the crazies to Cspan?
There are some special people calling in this am.

Final Four For You? Me? Not so much. I like basketball 'cause its the only game I ever played a bit, but just can't get all worked up this year.

Hypocrites thy name is "Bush Administration".

Bud Cummins (one of the ousted proscecutors) writes an article for Salon. It is a must read.

A scathing op-ed from Terry Jones (yes, that Terry Jones) in the Guardian UK comparing the treatment of the 15 British soldiers by the Iranians and our treatment of detainees.

Cat provides the gorgeous pic again today.

***UPDATE ALERT******

As of now (1015a EST) Cspan 1 is replaying this hearing....

White House Power Point slides target 20 Democrats for 2008 defeat RAW STORY
Published: Friday March 30, 2007

House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) is seeking information about slides targeting 20 Democratic-controlled Congressional districts for the 2008 Election. In January, the White House sent J. Scott Jennings, an aide to Karl Rove, to present a slide show to a group of employees of the General Services Administration.

Waxman believes the presentation, as well as subsequent remarks made by GSA Director Lurita Alexis Doan, may have violated the Hatch Act, which prohibits federal employees from using their positions for political purposes. Doan is alleged to have suggested that she could use GSA contracts to help Republican members of Congress hold their seats in the House.

Definitely worth a watch.
