Faux claimed their show was the number one new cable show...forgetting to mention it was the only new cable show.
The fact that Fox even created the show, never mind the fact that it is a flop, shows that they just do not get it.
The Daily Show works because it lampoons everyone and everything, it does not discriminate. They only happen to be liberal. In addition to that, they actually have to ability to treat their guests with respect, even if they have opposing viewpoints. Yes, they have the ability to rip them apart, but they do it with intelligence and wit, they call people on their bs.
The right wing seems to see humor as attacking the other side for everything they stand for and try to get a rise out of discrimination and hate. It seems they never grew out of elementary school humor.
That is one DAGGER of a review.
The funniest thing I can ever attribute to a Conservative was a sign I saw by a "counter protester" at the last anti-war march which said; "If Osama were an intern Clinton would have nailed him".
Even I chuckled at that so perhaps they should hire that guy. Still, if all they have left are Clinton jokes then things are pretty bleak indeed.
Cliff.. you rule.
Will you be the official speaker for the Demcoartic Party? Please?
