I think Al Gore was the best thing on during that show. He was funny, sincere, and obviously loved by the audience. I'm sure Rush and Hannity have plenty to say about it, but I just can't bring myself to listen to their shows.
BTW, Tipper looked lovely. She wasn't "over-done", and the dark chocolate brown dress made her look stunning. A very classy lady, IMO.
What struck me about Gore was his willingness to give others the spotlight. A real gentleman.
Does anyone remember his campaign film, the 20 minute one that showed him at home, etc.? He was really funny in that, and I've rarely heard a mention of his sense of humor, especially in that film. When he relaxes, he comes off very "human" and clever.
