Progressive KY Gov Ticket Wins Statewide Student Election

The Lexington Herald Leader is reporting that the Gubernatorial ticket of Jonathan Miller and Irv Maze won the statewide mock elections sponsored by the Kentucky Secretary of State at the public universities across the Bluegrass State.

In the Democratic primary, Miller and Irv Maze garnered 35 percent of the vote. Following were Jody Richards and John Y. Brown III with 16.4 percent, Steven Beshear and Daniel Mongiardo with 15.2 percent, Gatewood Galbraith and Mark Wireman with 9.3 percent, Bruce Lunsford and Greg Stumbo with 9.3 percent, Otis “Bullman” Hensley and Richard Robbins with 7.6 percent and Steve Henry and Renee True with 7.1 percent.
