Very interesting reading from my fellow Bloosier Robert @ Left of Centrist. I will confess to using what Glenn Greenwald calls Argument by Anecdote, but since that is what they usually use against us, one time won't hurt.
(For a take down of the other sides use of Argument by Anecdote and laugh out loud record straightening on the GoE claim of 30K "pro-war" marchers, go see Gavins take at Firedoglake)

There had been specific threats on the net from people who claimed there would be blood shed.

As the march began, the counter protesters became even more belligerent. One of them even held a sign that said "peace sucks". You have to wonder why anyone would be so pro-war that they would make such a claim. (snip)

There was such anger on their faces. It made me wonder what they had against free speech, the right to assemble and our right to voice our dissent with the government. It's not as if any of us would support a law forbidding them to support the war.
Yet these same men, many of them Vietnam vets who were spat upon when they returned from another illegal and immoral war also spat on Charlie Anderson, an Iraq War vet who is now protesting with the rest of us.

I wonder if Charlie Anderson will get money donations from Fox and it's viewers like Joshua Sparling?
Will he get face time on Hannity and Colmes?
Will Michelle Malkin, Little Green Footballs and the guys at Powerline call Charlie Anderson an "AMERICAN HERO"?

Not. Holding. Breath.

****bumped***
