Mitch McConnell is set to become the Senate Majority or Minority Leader (hope, hope) when the new Senate is sworn in in January. That will make him the third most powerful Republican, and put a man in charge of the Republican Senate Caucus who's about as discerning as Dick Cheney with a shotgun near a rich white guy ruffling the bushes.

Not too many are talking about it. So I decided to. Check out my articles in this month's Washington Monthly Magazine, one of which shows how he's acted as a Senator while the other explores his building a GOP machine in Kentucky.

Make sure to be near a disinfectd liquid-like substance and a Shaman for the physical and spiritual cleansing you'll need after reading about this man.
