Depressing as hell.

Thousands apply for jobs at Wal-Mart in Livonia
August 6, 2007

More than 5,000 people applied for 300 new jobs at the Wal-Mart Supercenter that opens Wednesday in Livonia.

The 210,000-square-foot store is the first Wal-Mart in metro Detroit to sell groceries. The store will employ 530 workers, some of whom transferred from the smaller Livonia store that closes tomorrow evening, said store manager Rita Acosta.

That means for over 5k people, a job at Wal-Mart was a good thing. Jeez.

Wal-Mart- we exploit labour both here and abroad so that you can buy a 20 dollar DVD player. Now pretend you don't know that, mindless drones.

The Wal-Marts Livonia is guilty of bait and switch fraud at its pharmacy. They make a big production of the fact that Blue Cross sets the drug prices which is true at a honest preferred pharmacy. Just ask Blue Cross how highly unprefered Wal-Marts is. Any way they promise the exact price they will charge right down to the penny. Will they keep their word dream on expect individual presciptions to go up by $100. No wonder they will not except a check to cover the rip off price. Any sane person would stop payment. You think any sane judge is going to enforce a check to a company that commited bait and swich. You can't come into a court room with dirty hands ie rip someone off and ask a judge to protect the rip off artist Wal-Marts from the victum. Blue Cross told me to tell them to keep the drugs and reverse the insurance claim which Wal-Marts has to do. If You want to be baddly ripped off buy at Wal-Marts. If they try bait and switch on You call the attorny generals office and ask that Wal-Marts be prosecuted.
