Duncan is right on in his analysis of how Bush's incredible unpopularity has been treated by the press vs Clinton's lowest points. Ahh, that liberal media bias.

BTW Is the war over in Iraq yet? I heard Saddam is dead.

I just don't understand polling. I've heard that Bush had a 32% favorable rating. No? It seems to me that Gallup always has Bush riding higher than most. I just can't imagine that he is anywhere near the 40's as it appears they are showing him. I guess it begs the question, has Bush been so bad at his job and caused so much damage, has it desensitized the public thinking of what a good president is? Have we forgotten?

I only wish that we could go back to the good ol' days of blow jobs in the Oval Office and a great economy, no more death tolls in Iraq and no more flag draped coffins coming home.

Regarding the Iraq war, I heard that Baghdad took quite a hit today.

Gallup always oversamples Republicans mary ellen. I once wrote a post way back about how they suck (for a different blog, the Gadflyer).

He is in the low-30s, and poised to fall further. If only we could go back to those good 'ol days you speak of...

mary ellen,

I know a few people who would LOVE to get back to the good ol' days of blow jobs. Ohhh, in the Oval Office. Sorry. I replied to soon.

Seriously, the numbers are horrifying. The number of Iraqis killed is posted at 36,000 for 2006. We all know it's much higher.

But all this insanity should be expected. Bush's interview proved he's lost all touch with reality.
